Buying an EPoS SystemInstalling or upgrading an EPoS system represents a significant investment in both time and money, getting it wrong can have a major impact on your business. Our advice is; don't buy a system purely on price but whether the system fits your requirements, think hard about what you're expecting from the system and the systems supplier. Consider what parts of the system are absolutely necessary for your business and what parts you can compromise on. Consider the suppliers level of support, whether they have experience and understand your particular retail sector, in short will they be a supplier or a valued business partner with you for the long term? There are many horror stories on business forums of companies who were the cheapest EPoS suppliers but who failed to meet the clients business requirements thus quickly turning out to be a waste of money. Consider paying a little more for a system that meets your requirements and helps to solve the challenges your business faces. As a buyer, be prepared to invest your time in the process of choosing a system, a reputable EPoS reseller will ask you as many questions as you yourself ask.
